Vintage is Magic's oldest and most powerful format, where almost every card ever printed is legal. Players build 60-card minimum decks with a 15-card sideboard. Unique among formats, it uses a restricted list rather than banning most cards, allowing one copy of the game's most iconic and powerful spells.
